Christmas in Devon

It's that most wonderful time of the year again!
It is well said that traditions and memories are made when these are repeated over and over again, and that would certainly be true in our family at Christmas time.

Every year the baubles are piled high on a silver tin tray by the fireside, the gingerbread house is put together and decorated, and many good hearty Christmas walks are enjoyed on Dartmoor and on through the narrow Devonshire country lanes as we look for holly.

A highlight is undoubtably to visit Exeter's wonderful Christmas market nestled in the shadow of the spectacular cathedral. The crisp, cold days are ideal for sampling the yummy food at the market stalls and browsing the array of gifts and handmade goods by local craftspeople.
After dark is especially atmospheric as the crowds build and the aromas from the food stalls assault the senses.

At A.C Hare, the warehouse has been busy processing all the orders, and the team are eagerly looking forward to a well deserved break.

So as you make your own traditions and memories from year to year....from all of us here...we wish each and everyone a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
